About Rupert and Franck
We decided to give up our careers and city-living to move to rural France, becoming dependent on the income from renting out holiday homes. It was therefore crucial that we made it succeed from the start. We spent two years looking for the perfect property, eight months renovating it and we opened Le Mas & Le Mazet in 2016.
Since then we have been reviewed by The Telegraph, interviewed in The Sunday Times and were one of the properties in Channel 4’s “Help! We bought a village”.
We set up Gîte Guru in 2020 and have loved the challenge of helping other gîte business grow, and their owners grow in confidence.
Le Mas & Le Mazet
Currently renting out for 27+ weeks a year, over half of which are regular guests. Whilst offering a 5-star product and maintaining it to a high standard, we have kept costs down. Learning from many people along the way and from our own experiences and mistakes, we have hit upon a formula which works.
